Tool Room Attendant

Edwards, Inc. is a full-service industrial general contractor providing construction, fabrication, and crane services. We are currently seeking a Tool Room Attendant in Spring Hope, NC. This is a full time position with the schedule of 11:30am - 8:00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations as well as repairs on vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
• Be able to diagnose codes vehicles may be giving and resolve the issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidates Should Have:

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Continually walk/stand on surfaces which may be even/uneven, stable/unstable, and varying compositions.
• The ability to routinely lift in-excess of 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Be able to work long periods of time including evenings and weekends when necessary.

Essential Requirements & Skills:

• Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of working knowledge of:

• • • Pipe, valves, and fittings
    • Welding tools and supplies
    • Associated tools for mechanical and electrical application

• Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety
• Ability to follow directions.

• Additional Skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Experience with MS Windows Software
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
